- What do you love about Dayton?
- I love Dayton’s charm. Some people don’t take the chance to try new things, especially Downtown. I think people in the suburbs overlook downtown and that’s really a shame.
- How has Generation Dayton aided your professional, personal and/or social development?
- As a newer professional in Dayton, this group has really helped me build my network. I know that the people that I’m meeting and befriending will be the future conduits for change in Dayton; and that’s exciting!
- Tell us a little more about your profession and company...
- The convergence of National City and PNC continues to develop every day behind the scenes. Exciting things are happening within the company and the industry as well; its very surreal to be right in the middle of history in the making! My job in the Dayton area is to assist Middle Market Companies and their financial managers in managing their cash flow operations.
- What do you enjoy about your career/profession? Employer?
- My profession is very technology oriented so everything tends to be fast paced and ever-changing, which is a very appealing aspect of my job. As for my employer, I’m very lucky to work for National City, they continue to be a great company to work for and really take care of their employees. I’m equally lucky to begin working for PNC as they have a reputation of being a great company to work for. They’ve won awards for being one of the 100 best Companies for Working Mothers, they were one of BusinessWeek’s Best Places to Launch a Career and PNC continues to focus their efforts on the community and giving back its citizens. These are all very important issues to me and that’s why I think it’s so great to get to work here!
