- What do you love about Dayton?
- Dayton is such a friendly place. I think Dayton's rich history of invention and entrepreneurial spirit gives the city a competitive advantage in the drive for economic development.
- How has Generation Dayton aided your professional, personal and/or social development?
- Number one I met John North, the President of the BBB, at a Generation Dayton networking event and was the reason I found out about my current position. Generation Dayton has also given me an opportunity to develop professionally in a way that I never would have imagined when I joined. One example, our Steering Committee for Professional Development organized a monthly event with Bob Forschner a trained FocalPoint International Business Coach. Bob helped all of us better understand how to set goals and track our progress, communicate more effectively with different behavioral styles, and more effective time management skills.
- Tell us a little more about your profession and company.
- I do the sales and account management for the BBB. Working in sales can be the most rewarding and challenging job for any professional. I enjoy finding creative ways to help communicate the value of BBB accreditation to local businesses.
- What do you enjoy about your career/profession? Employer?
- We have a great office and a lot of really fun people at the BBB. I genuinely enjoy the people I work with and that makes my working so much more enjoyable.
