What do you love about Dayton?: I love the variety of activities, be it sports, arts, or non-profit galas. There is always something to do. I also think the size of the community really supports professional development.
How has Generation Dayton aided your professional, personal and/or social development?: I have made several new friends through Gen D and have been able to maximize my personal and professional connections to put together a great event (Wine Tasting/Cooking Class at the House of Bread in November, which we hope to make a repeat event).
Tell us a little more about your profession and company...: PS&E is a full service law firm that has been serving the Dayton area since 1915. I practice Business Law working with a broad range of clients, including private businesses, multi-national corporations, banks, non-profit entities, and health care institutions. My practice focuses on business formation, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, tax, succession planning, creditors’ rights, and health care law. Our other areas of practice include probate and estate planning, workers’ compensation and employment law, and litigation.
What do you enjoy about your career/profession? Employer?: The legal profession is very challenging, and I love that every day is different. I really enjoy working for PS&E because we are a true family. We have several employees that have been with the Firm for more than 30, 40, even 50 years. Everyone is treated equally, and there is a real sense of loyalty that I have not experienced in any other work environment.
