- I have recently taken up golf, which I enjoy even though I’m not very good. Music is a large part of my job and I love attending local concerts. I have become involved with Intermural Sports in the area and you will likely find me playing sand volleyball at Setters anytime there isn’t snow on the ground. Originally from St. Louis, MO, watching Cardinal baseball is a large part of my summer and I thoroughly enjoy the Cardinals/Reds rivalry that has developed in the past few years. GO BIRDS!!!

- Favorite Weekend Activity:
- With my career, I am usually working on Saturday evenings. Attending UD Basketball games is always on the schedule when available and I hope to reserve Sundays during my busy season for some much needed relaxation at a local pool or lake.
- What do you love about Dayton?
- I moved back to Dayton in January of 2010 to pursue a MBA at the University of Dayton. After getting a true overall view of the city, I felt the true passion and commitment of the people in this community. I love the small town feel that Dayton provides, and being able to reach two large metropolitan areas within about an hour drive.
- How has Generation Dayton aided your professional, personal and/or social development?
- Being able to meet and share experiences with other Young Professionals has been a huge asset in my development. The ability to network with other YPs and local business leaders is something that would have been very difficult without an organization like Generation Dayton. The overall experience and the many different opportunities that GenD provides are priceless.
- Tell us a little more about your profession and company.
- I started Liftoff Entertainment in early 2010, as a local DJ company, priding ourselves in providing a high quality service at an affordable price. In November 2010, Liftoff Entertainment became one of a very few entertainment companies that are Better Business Bureau accredited. Liftoff Entertainment expanded services with an Open Air Photo Booth in April of 2011, which has allowed us to add excitement to many different types of events, including Urban Nights, UD’s Reunion Weekend, and many holiday parties, class reunions, and other events.
Big plans are in the works for 2012, including expanding with multiple DJs and the possibility of a purchasing a second Photo Booth.
- What do you enjoy about your career/profession? Employer?
- Being a small business owner, I truly enjoy the daily challenges that owning a business brings whether it is working with clients or developing short-term strategies and long-term plans. Also being a part of a couple’s wedding day, one of the most important days of their lives, is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
